Pakistan’s complete schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2023


The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2023 event. The marquee tournament starts on October 17 and the top match is on November 14. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board has named a balanced 15-member squad that will take part in the competing T20 World Cup.
Pakistan national cricket team has been placed in Group B of T20 World Cup 2023 along with teams like New Zealand, Afghanistan and India. In particular, he will start his campaign with old rivals India national cricket team led by Virat Kohli on October 24, 2023.
The two biggest positive things for Pakistan are the red hot form of wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam. It is worth mentioning that Babar Azam is at the second position in the ICCT T20 batsmen rankings and Mohammad Rizwan is at the 7th position. Rizwan is in the shape of his life in the T20I format, averaging 94.00 in 17 games played in 2023 and has already scored 752 runs.
Young Shaheen Afridi will be the biggest factor when it comes to bowling things. It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has won 4 out of the last 5 T20 series.
So far, Pakistan has won a T20 World Cup trophy in 20239 by defeating Sri Lanka by 8 wickets at Home of Cricket Lord’s Cricket Ground, London. He will be looking to win the next T20 World Cup 2023 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Meanwhile, they will face New Zealand and England in a whiteball series before going to the World Cup.
