Ghazi University is a university in Dra Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. The university was established in 2012 at the initiative of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab. It is named after the Baloch mercenary Gazi Khan.
The university is located in the center of the city, close to Radar and the university district. This university has two buildings. One is in the university area where the student recently studied and the other is on Airport Road. The College Road campus is called the City Campus and the Airport Road campus is called the Airport Campus. The airport campus is under construction.
In 1998, Faisalabad Agricultural University opened in Dra ghazi Khan as a subcampus of the College of Agriculture. In 20234, Bahauddin Zakariya University also established a branch campus there. On July 11, 2014, DG Khan College of Agriculture, BZU Subcampus, Ghazi Graduate College and Medical College received Dera Ghazi Khan status from Ghazi University.
